My husband, Jeff, and I have known each other since 1987 when we were stationed together in Arizona in the US Army. Due to the military sending us in different directions, we dated off and on until 2017 when we finally got married. We have 2 Newfoundland dogs, Newfie for short, that are our furbabies. The brown one is Kota, means Little Bear, and her brother is Murphy. Ready for this? Murphy is 185 pound and Kota is down to 220!
My son, Colby, lives in Maine along with the rest of my family. He’s an incredible young man with a kind heart, a strong work ethic, and a great sense of humor. I’m beyond proud to call him my son, and I’m grateful every day for the person he’s grown to be.
My family loves to travel! I enjoy exploring new places, experiencing new sights, and spending time in nature — as long as the weather is warm. After growing up in Maine, I truly appreciate North Carolina’s mild winters!
